70kg HSPU with 1 ab mat (orange and red band on bar) 6.13 - PB by 4 mins!! May need to increase the weight next time ;P PS I hate easter - too many yummy eggs... I try to resist but they get me!
the chick in that video was SUPER impressive, but her hands were really wide apart for the HSPUs, so her range of movement was really small. Especially on the 15 and 9 reps. Maybe one of the SXF boys will know if they were ok?
look at her delts man... at one of the sectionals, they actually marked the 'limit' or the width of the arms for HSPUs. I did try to do wider HSPUs and they were actually harder....but its individuals preference some people are stronger at wide press, some at narrow.
With HSPU's unless otherwise stated I believe as long as you complete the ROM its ok. Going extra wide is not necessarily an advantage. The same argument could be used for a snatch grip press, but generally your snatch grip press will be weaker than your jerk grip.

i think its time to take the training wheels off and try hspu with 3 abmats.... bit by bit....
with the video... range of motion may be questionable, but you have to admire her ability to do all that work in such a quick time...
