Death By Pull-ups

With a continuously running clock do one pull-ups the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute...... continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

Arms felt fine until I lifted them up to wash my hair and I found that i could hardly make them function.. Legs are still caining from Saturday, so the warm up hurt me more than anything.. haha

10 + 5, yellow band (that nearly snapped when I dropped to the ground with failing grip). It's fair to say I've lost a bit of strength holidaying for 8 weeks :-( Morning capped off by failing to get the 400m for athletic skill green level .... by two seconds. Dammit!

Well done Robyn, your pull ups were great to watch. Fun watching the 2 monkeys (Luke and Kev) as well! Good job guys :-)

9+8 with bands, was aiming to get to 10 but just couldnt get there. Physio has told me I should lay off the upper body stuff for a bit due to a sore shoulder so going to have to start modifying the WODs :(

10 rounds with yellow band. Know how you feel Ali, finally did the 800m run (which I have been avoiding) and easily achieved level 1, but 3 seconds too slow for level 2 : ( There were 2 parked trucks I had to run around twice, which didn't help my time....also finally did the 3 pullups test - yay! Was surprised I had the arms left to even attempt this after the WOD, but it actually felt....dare I say it....easy?!

Erin, hope your knee is ok......

Congrats on the pull ups Claire!! That's a great break through and from now on you know you can do bandless!! I had the darn truck problem too ... plus there's the problem of being a crap runner ... hahaa.

10mt runs instead of pull ups..... 15 + 12....1st time doing it so pleased-ish....probably could have pulled my finger out and gotten 16,next time!

robyn this is for you.. I'm sure hayden will fill you in when you actually get to talk to him...I got 9+4 before I screwed up big time... I had my right leg in the bands, with the box on the right to rest on (mistake no. 1) wanting to rest, couldn't reach the box, decided to jump off bar into floor, foot still in bands, bands twisted foot flung out body landing on left ankle and knee. Taken to hospital all clear with the ankle. The knee no broken bones, could have a tear in my miniskis but not sure. In splint for a week.... seeing physio tommorow on anti inflamatories.... hope for a fast recovery.
thanks for all the well wishes. You guys are the best, sorry all that had to hear my pig squeals at the gym this morning.

29 v-ups..... missed the last one by millimetress.... tried as much as I could, just could not squeeze that much more... =(

8 + 8 on orange band. Oh I wish I didn't weigh so much. My poor arms!!!

did the 400m/800m Level 2 run missed the 800m by 6 seconds but passed the 400m by 2 seconds :) Beat my last 800m run by 24 seconds though so Im happy with that.
