Foundations Program

It is natural to be fearful when contemplating joining an exercise program. Rest assured that we will ramp you up into the program, rather that just getting dropped into the mix. So before joining our classes, the first step is the completion of our FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM. This includes the "skills and drills" that will teach you the principle movements of the Crossfit Method. This is to ensure that you can undertake the group training without injuring yourself or others. It is compulsory to complete Southern CrossFit's Foundations Program before joining in normal classes. There is no time limit on these classes. Take as many as you need to feel confident in the exercises.

About our classes

We scale the loads and the intensity of the workout to accommodate your current level. Our classes are for both men and women, young or old. Most people start as beginners and quickly excel. If you have injuries or recent surgeries you need to discuss that with us also so we can adapt the workout for you.

We believe in QUALITY COACHING AND SUPERVISION. We physically coach each and every session held at Southern CrossFit! We do not go up on stage and use a “monkey see, monkey do” method like most other health clubs. We are genuinely interested in your Results, unlike other facilities.

What to expect

You can expect the unexpected! Every training day is a new day, with a new challenge. Since we work for fitness not just to look good in the mirror (just a pleasant by product of the work we do). We use Barbells, Bumper Plates, Kettlebells, Sandbags, Medicine Balls, Polymetric Jumping Boxes, Rowers & Dumbells amongst others.

Whether you are a first responder emergency services, corporate CEO, self-employed, military or a house wife, this class will make you functionally strong and mentally tough. By focusing on strength and work capacity, not how our muscles look, we build actual strength you can translate to life.
